‘Good Samaritan’ steals shopping

A shopper had his bags stolen after a man helped him board a bus in Hereford, police have said.

It happened as the victim was loading his Asda shopping bags at the bus station on Commercial Road.

A man started to help him but it was only later the victim realised that two of his bags were missing.

The offender was white, approximately 5’8”foot tall, aged between 40-50 with short dark hair and a moustache. He was wearing dark trousers and a checked grey/red jumper similar to the Pringle design and is thought to have beeen queuing for a London-bound bus.

The incident happened on Saturday, July 31 between 7am and 8am.
