Missing woman mystery

The whereabouts of a 62-year-old Hereford woman is the subject of an urgent police appeal following her disappearance last week.

Rosalind Russell, from Tupsley, was last seen by a taxi driver at 12.30pm on Friday February 5 when he dropped her near the Hope and Anchor pub in Lugwardine.

She told him she was going for a walk but family and police have been unable to contact her on her mobile phone since and concern has been expressed for her safety.

Mrs Russell is described as white, 5ft 1ins tall, of slim build with short brown, wavy hair with grey flecks. She was last seen wearing a blue anorak with pink lining, navy trousers and black boots.

Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Mrs Russell is urged to contact the police immediately.

Similarly, anyone with other information that might assist in the search for her should ring West Mercia Police on 0300 333 3000.
