A young woman needed treatment at Hereford County Hospital for a fractured skull after being punched to the floor of a city pub.
Detectives are asking for witnesses to come forward after the incident at the Litten Tree,Commercial Road, Hereford at 11.30pm on Friday, December 12.
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm. He is on police bail whilst further enquiries are made.
Police want to speak to as many people as possible who were in the pub, who witnessed the assault, whether they saw the incident or not.
