Book signings and local craft goods will be the centre of this week’s Ross-in-Bloom pre-Christmas activities.
The RIB team will hold a local authors’ day and craft market on Friday (November 28) when local writers will be on hand to sell their books and sign them as Christmas gifts. Local craft traders will also be displaying their goods for those special purchases.
This will be followed by the annual advent market on Sunday, November 30, when local crafts people and charities will be selling gifts.
Both events will be held at the Market House from 10am to 3pm on each of the days. They will complement the Christmas light switch-on this Saturday and the Christmas Tree Festival which also starts on Saturday.
Mary Sinclair Powell of the Heritage Centre said: “Pitch space under the Market House is full but if there is anyone who would like to have a stall and is prepared to go outside they are very welcome to join in and should contact me.”
Mary can be contacted at the Market House Heritage Centre on 01432 260675.
