Journal is bigger and even better

There’s great news this week for readers and advertisers alike, as the county-wide Hereford/Leominster/Ross-on-Wye Journal series reached an important target by covering no less than 51,810 door-to-door letterbox deliveries every week (subject to a VFD Audit for January-June this year) – an increase of 1,482 copies of Herefordshire’s top read.

And when extra deliveries to such drop-off points as council offices, leisure and information centres, village shops and post offices and roadside garages throughout the county are included, the total reaches a massive 58,707 copies – not traditionally included in VFD Audit figures.

“This is a great tribute to all our staff at Hereford, who work continuously to ensure the Journal series is the first choice among readers and advertisers for news coverage and marketing results – week in, week out,” said Colin Spicer, managing director of the Journal’s parent company, Shropshire Newspapers. “The Hereford, Leominster and Ross-on-Wye Journals have shown a consistent record of growth and expansion, and we are confident the series will continue to lead the way as Herefordshire’s leading light in the county’s media sector.”
